• Question: how many jobs have you had in the past

      So when I left high school I took a year out and had various jobs – I worked as a cleaner and a street fundraiser, then I went volunteering in Bangladesh and South Africa with the money I saved up. Then I went to uni.

      During uni I helped pay the bills by working part time as a kids entertainer – painting faces and making balloon animals (I still do this these days but not as much).

      When I left uni I decided to go into wind energy and was working for E.ON (the energy company) for 3 years. During this time I was also doing a PhD (which is like another degree but a bit more difficult).

      Now I work at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult and I’ve been here for 5 months, and I love it!

      So in total I’ve had 6 or 7 jobs before this one, but really only one other job in renewables since leaving university.
