We are already seeing effects of climate change and that is why we must all be aware of it. We have to help protect the environment so that the effects of climate change will not get worse.

      Hi Cameron,

Yes climate change will affect us a lot if we don’t try to stop it happening ? some countries in the world are already suffering from very bad weather events (like floods and droughts) that may have been made worse by climate change ? if we don’t try hard to stop it from being so bad, temperatures around the world will increase too much, lots of places will flood and there will be famines ? it’s very important that we try to stop climate change from getting that bad – we can all help by trying not to use too much energy (like by turning things off when you are not using them, or walking places rather than going in the car).

      Hi Cameron!

It absolutely will if we don’t do anything about it. Climate change can cause flooding, changes in the weather and is even responsible for changing when plants and flowers are ready. That might effect our food supplies.

Now we know climate change is happening we can do something about it. We can try to make less carbon dioxide by making our energy from “renewable” sources like wind and the sun. We say renewable because they don’t get used up when we use them for energy. I’m trying to make plastics out of plants instead of oil. Using oil is bad for the environment as it makes carbon dioxide – that’s one of the things causing climate change. Lots of things like not using that can stop climate change getting any worse and hopefully it won’t effect us too much!
