  I am learning all the time about land pollution – there is always something new to learn. At the moment I am working with some local authorities on preparing a report for businesses that want to build houses and I am finding that very interesting.
  
  You have to do lots of different things to see if land is polluted, for instance it might be obvious (a funny smell coming from the land, plants dying or maybe some coloured water) or you might have to take samples and send it to a lab to do experiments on it.
  
  Finding out if land is polluted takes a lot of time and money and can be difficult to do
