Hehe, hello Sophie! That’s a tough question – I have had many embarrassing moments!
Probably the *most* embarrassing was on my first day of studying for my Chemistry degree at University ? We each had a cupboard and a draw full of complicated glass lab equipment to do our experiments for the whole year. Unfortunately I pulled my draw out too fast and ALL my equipment fell on the floor and smashed! ? ? ? ? that was very embarrassing, but my teachers at University were very nice and helped me tidy it up and get some new equipment ?
Hehe I did that too, Cat! Everyone stopped and stared at me when it happened too ?
My most embarrassing moment was in the very first week of my PhD. It was my first day in the lab and I was heating two chemicals together. I heated it a bit too much and it exploded and went everywhere! It was really dark brown and very obvious. I had to stay late to clean it all up. Everyone still reminds me of it now!
