Ooooh Megaladon41 that is a tough question! ?
I think my favourite is one called “alpha pinene”, which you might not have heard of but it’s one that trees emit into the air ? I like it because it’s very mysterious and scientists don’t totally understand everything it does yet. These molecules are very tiny so it’s difficult to study them in the air!

Hi there! My favourite chemical is very similar to Cat’s – mine is called beta-pinene! It’s also found in trees and it’s what makes pine trees smell really piney. I’m trying to make my beta-pinene into plastics! It contains the same atoms as alpha-pinene but they’re stuck together in a slightly different way.

My second favourite chemical is called limonene. It’s an oil that is found in orange peel ? and is what makes oranges smell so orangey. You might find it in some products around the house. It’s often in cleaning products and shower gels because it smells so nice!

H2O (water) would be my favourite chemical as without it I wouldn’t be able to make my cup of tea in the morning.
