I’d say keep on finding out about new things, you don’t have to decide to be a particular type of scientist straight away – you can train to be a general scientist and then keep learning about more and more things before you decide what specific sort of scientist you want to be! I’m not sure how old you guys are (?) but when you’re choosing your GCSEs it’s good to do all the science subjects separately because then you study things in more detail.
+ don’t give up, if you work hard you will be able to be whatever kind of scientist you want to be 😀 good luck!
Really good advice, Cat! I didn’t do separate sciences at GSCE – I did the double award then chose chemistry for A level. I didn’t like biology and physics very much! I found that I needed to use lots of maths too so I had to study that even though I’m not very good at that and find it very hard. It’s worth it! Good luck, future scientists! ?
