        Hi there!

DNA is really important! DNA is found in our cells and is basically a code that makes us who we are – it contains all the information that makes us all different – like what colour hair or eyes we have. Every living thing has its own DNA. It’s a bit like a plan to say what we are like. Imagine someone trying to build a house without a plan – it would be impossible!

DNA is also really important because we need it to fix and grow new cells.

There’s an experiment you might be able to do at school where you can get DNA from a strawberry – it used to be one of my favourite experiments!
