Question: how many bits of plastic have you made?

That’s a great question! I’ve been trying to make plastics for a year and a half now. I think I’ve probably made about 150 different pieces of plastic. Some of them look really like plastics that we could use for bottles or food packaging but loys of them just look like white powders – it’s quite difficult to make them that are actually useful, but that’s part of the challenge! Sometimes they come out really runny and look a bit like glue. I usually just make very small amounts at a time – about 1 gram – to see what they will be like!
