Question: how is glass made

You might not believe it, but glass is made from sand – like you get at the beach! ⛱ This seems really strange because glass is see through, but sand is….not!

To make glass (don’t try this! you have to do it in a laboratory), you have to melt some sand, so that it turns into a liquid – but this requires temperatures of around 1700 degrees Celsius – that’s hot!!! ? ? ? when the liquid sand cools down it completely changes and sets like we imagine a piece of glass to be, see through!
