I haven’t met Stephen Hawking (yet!), probably the most famous scientist I have met is Professor Susan Solomon, she is an inspiring scientist who helped to work out what was causing a hole in the ozone layer above the Antarctic and led an expedition across Antarctica.
Susan was included in series of famous scientists giving their thoughts on climate change, here:
I have never met Stephen Hawkins but would like to. The most famous scientist I have met is Professor Roy Harrison who does a lot of work on air quality
I haven’t met Stephen Hawking either but it would be incredible if I got the chance to! He’s very inspirational.
I think the most famous scientist I’ve met was Robert Winston. He’s on lots of BBC science documentaries so you might have seen him on TV. We were at Cheltenham Science Festival and he broke one of or exhibits! I got a bit star-struck and didn’t know what to say so I looked a bit silly!
