My favourite plant is Artemisia annua because it produces artemisinin, which is a type of medicine used to treat malaria but my favourite house plant is Oxalis triangularis 😊

My favourite plant is from the semi-deserts in Southern Africa, called the ‘camel thorn’, ‘kameeldoring’ in Afrikaans. These trees have very long and dangerous thorns, and giraffes are always eating around the thorns with their long tongues! They remind me of home and being out in the bush 🙂 . They can survive being hit by elephants and long periods without rain!
