Because the common cold virus mutates and changes very easily. So a new vaccne is needed for ebery form of new cold virus that emerges every year.

l;argely they are virus created and viruses you cannot atack with antibiotics because they have no cell machinery to attack..they hijack ours.. as for vacciones well viruses mutate rapids sop you would need a new one of those every so often
luckily a common cold is just that so its not too much of a worry

The common cold is caused by hundreds of different viruses, it’s very difficult to tell which one you have at any one time and they’re always changing (mutating). There are very few ‘cures’ for viruses.

Because the cold virus changes all the time and there are so many of them, however if you get one you are unlikely to get the same one again so it is helping our immune system develop.

Because the common cold cause keeps on changing! The virus that is the cause can mutate so that they can avoid potential medicines. So, we need more research to understand how this happens to design more effective medicines that can work more effectively.
