Question: What made you interested in how infants respond to vaccines, and how do you find out from infants ?

Working in The Gambia made me realise that infants are really strong to be able to respond to so many vaccines and I wondered how this effected how these responses developed and how these responses effect the development of their immunity in general. The development of the immune system early on could have a long term effect on how you respond to things later in life so it is important to understand.
