      yes..they get diseases that have the same symtoms as colds…certainly all out cats are vaccinated against cat flu as it can be much morew dangerous in cats then humans..Not the same viruis of course…the cat flu virus that can get into cat cells not human cells

      I am sure they do but perhaps they do not catch it from the cold viruses that infect humans. They will have their own viruses that infect them.

      Cats can get cat flu but they can be vaccinated against this, however they cannot catch a cold from us as the viruses that grow in us won’t grow in cats.

      Yes, mine’s had a few, but she can’t catch mine and I can’t catch hers, different viruses. They can also get flu, but Pebbles gets a jab to protect her every year.

      I am not a vet, but I know that cats are susceptible to catching viruses and infections, so they can definitely catch illnesses that will be the equivalent to colds in humans.
