• Question: How deadly can bacteria be?? :)

      Very deadly. In hospitals, infections with bacteria that aren’t treatable with antibiotics (so called MRSA) are a massive problem- they can definitely be deadly if they infect the elderly or people who are not in good health.
      You may also have seen in the news last year about an outbreak of a particularly nasty E.coli strain called E.coli 0157. Thankfully on this occasion no one died, but 17 people developed serious complications and eight people needed kidney dialysi, with some left with permanent damage to their kidneys and may need a transplant in the future.
      So, things can be pretty nasty!
