      oh good question many are ( my son icluded) but over the first 6-12 months melanin ( the chemical that gives coulor to eyes..brown coloured chemical) is released and according to you genees you will recive a certain amount. Very little they stay blue a lot they go brown

      Eye colour is a great example of genetics. If both your parents have blue eyes you will have blue eyes. If however both parents have green eyes then you are unlikely to have blue eyes. If one parent has brown eyes then it is less likely that you will have blue eyes as the blue eye gene is recessive and brown eye gene is dominant.

      I think the answer is nope, black babies probably don’t.

      The majority of caucasian babies are. This is because the new borns have not produced sufficient amounts of a protein called melanin that would colour their eyes anything other than blue. So, all babies are born with the default eye colour blue- some will go on to develop different colour eyes as they produce more melanin, others will just stay blue.
