I would 100% definately spend the prize money to run my cancer research workshop in schools. I have zero interest in spending it on myself and to prove that to you, if I win “I’m a Scientist”, I promise to come to your school and run my workshop with your class! !

I care a lot about teaching peoepl about the dangers of cancer when they are younger and we need young scientists to help us fight cancer, so I want to encourage young people to think about science as a career! I also want to show people where the money goes when the donate to Cancer Research UK and I want to show them some of the fantasic research that is being done in the fight against cancer (us scientists don’t get out much so people don’t often realise what we do!)

On my profile there is a video which shows you one of the experiments you can do in my workshop. It’s about the diagnostic blood test that I am working on for my research. Please have a look at my video and tell me what you think!

I have dedicated my life to studying cancer research after losing people that I needed in my life because of cancer. I really do care a lot about helping save people’s lives.

Yesterday I did the Edinburgh Race For Life 10k to say thank you to all the people that fundraise for cancer research uk and pay for research like mine, because it means a lot to me. I’m really not very fit so I found the race really hard but I used my determination and motivation to finish it, and that’s how I feel about my work too.
