  Because the rules are that if you win you have to spend the money on something to do with science communication. And since I do workshops anyway, it will mean I can do a lot more of them and buy cool equipment to take to the schools with me.
  
  My research is paid for by Cancer Research UK, they buy all the chemicals and things that I need.

Question: Why are you going to spend the money on a workshop? Why not your research instead?
