• Question: why are the babies heads so big

      This is a very perceptive question. Babies heads are very big in proportion to their bodies because unlike the rest of the body the brain doesn’t grow very much as you grow up. By the age of two you have as many brain cells as you will have for the rest of your life. And there is a reason why.

      .The brain can’t grow like the rest of the body because if you added too many new cells to it that might disrupt the things you had already learned! So you have to have an almost full-sized brain right from the start. And a nearly full-size brain needs a nearly full sized head.. which makes their heads out of proportion to their bodies.
