Question: Is Berlin a centre of scientific research? Why are you there?

Yes.. there are a lot of good psychologists and other scientists in Berlin and Germany. But that’s not the main reason I have moved there. I will soon be working for the university of Burgundy in France but the work I am doing for the next few years will be mostly theoretical or internet based. So it can be done anywhere I have access to a computer. I will go to France occasionally to work and meet with my boss but the rest of the time I can work anywhere.

I have lived in London a long time ~15 years and been at my university here (Birkbeck) for 9 years. I thought it was time for a change of scenery. Berlin is a wonderful city, it is very lively, very green and a cheap place to live. So I thought i would give it a try.
