  Hi –
  
  You are limited by the amount of stuff and food you can carry in the forest. So the maxmimum I have ever done is three weeks in the rainforest non-stop (in Gabon). However, some people do longer trips by setting up supply lines and also going fishing. However I am slightly reluctant to start eating the wildlife when I am in the jungle!

Question: How long would you spend in the jungle at one time? What types of fieldwork do you especially enjoy?
