Great question Matt. The short answer is yes I very much hope so. As a scientist and engineer it’s very important to me to get accurate measurements whenever I do experiments with robots. In my swarm robot lab we have an arena with cameras that allow us to track the position of each robot during the experiment. We record all of the tracked robot positions, together with other data we get from the robots by radio (like what they’re doing) and save all of this data for analysis. We don’t make any conclusions until we’ve studied the data in great detail. You can see pictures of my swarm lab, and the special cameras that track the robots here: https://picasaweb.google.com/105609449693940239457/ArtCultLab#
