I generally make board games for ‘gamers’ (not children or super-casual games), focusing on social interaction, such as haggling, auction and social deduction mechanics.
The game I’m most proud of is Midsummer, inspired by Midsummer Night’s Dream. Players each play a faerie hunting for mortals from Shakespeare plays, then selling them off to other faeries for favours. However, no one really knows who is who, and who is on which team.
