• Question: what is your least favourite thing about your job?

      I think the thing I hate most is filing things! Although this is a very important part of my job, it isn’t as bad as it used to be. When I first started work we used to have lots of ‘paper’ filing to do, now we do it all electronically so it isn’t so bad, but it is still the thing I like least.

      I often work long hours which some people might see as not being very good but I am lucky because if I do work long hours I can take time off at a later date to make up for it. Usually when I work long hours it is because I work in a global setting and often have telephone calls with Japan early in the morning and calls with USA in the evening. It is tiring but also exciting as you are working with people all over the world.

      In general, there isn’t very much I don’t like about my job!

      I think the worst part of my job is being in exactly the same place all day – I work in a small office so I do sit at a desk most of the time; I’m a very active person so it can be quite difficult for me and I do fidget quite a lot! But a lot of jobs are desk-based these days, and I can make a cup of tea whenever I want, so it’s not all bad 🙂
