      Hey there Melodymaker2001
The typical definition of a scientist is that of a little man with grey fuzzy hair and glasses playing with different coloured solutions in a laboratory. This is NOT only what science is about!!

A scientist is someone who works in any field of science, not just in a laboratory. There are many fields of science including domestic science where people work out how to make the cake mixes etc that we use, or work out how long items can stay in a freezer; there is environmental science looking at how the environment is changing around us; how about zoo keeping which is also a ‘naturalist’ looking at how animals live. how about art preservation? That is also a science!

so to me a scientist is anyone who works is any discipline where science or any sort plays a part.

I am sure you can think of more than me!
