  The pharmaceutical industry often pays very well but you have to be prepared to start on the bottom rung and work up. Careers in the pharmaceutical industry which focus on interaction with people would be things like marketing, medical sales, regulatory affairs, clinical research (monitors and clinical research associates) and medical communications.
