• Question: hi, what types of jobs would a chemical engineering degree get you and what would these involve

      The best person to answer this question will be Claire as this is her area of expertise.

      As a pharmaceutical industry person, I would guess that with a chemical engineering background you would be looking at jobs in the oil and gas industry, water treatment, food and drink, plastics and toiletries industry. In the pharmaceutical industry chemical engineers are used to build anufacturing ‘plants’ and scale up manufacturing processes.

      I am sure Claire can give you a much more detailed answer.
