• Question: does our eye colour affect our sight?

      Hi Flori
      The standard colours don’t – ie blue, green, brown etc.
      Albino animals and people have eyes that look red and they can have some problems with vision

      No! The cells that give our eyes colour are different to the ones that help us see. But, like Angela said, those with albinism can have some problems because the gene that causes them to be so pale also has effects on sight.
