I’d like to think so but it can be hard to tell. You try and measure the impact of what you do. e.g. how many people look at your website, how long they stay on it for. These things you can measure and quantify. How much of an effect it has? That can be harder to measure. The Royal Society of Chemistry works with a number of researchers who study students attitudes to science and chemistry over a sustained period of time. You need this sort of research to be sure.
Quite often though we talk to students at university who do remember going to a particular event or lecture that had a big impact on them, and they cite that as a reason they decided to study chemistry.
