      Good question! I think I have to answer yes because he experiments with new techniques to make great tasting food. There are a lot of great chefs out there who bring new menus to the table everyday and they will have done an amount of experimenting, so maybe cooking should be thought of as a science? See I have been saying all along that science is all around us……every time you cook it is like a mini science experiment!

      He definitely is Smith2002.
      We are so sure of that here at the Royal Society of Chemistry that we made him a Honary Fellow of the RSC to recognise his contribution to the chemistry of food.
