Question: Do you know how carbon nanotubes conduct electricity? And if so, how is it that the chirality of the nanotubes affects whether they are conductors or semi-conductors?

  The same way graphite conducts electricity! Namely it can accommodate electrons moving through its structure.
  
  The chirality of the nanotube affects this property as it affects the structure of the nanotube (essentially it affects the routes available for electrons to move along the nanotube)
