      It is always sad when you can’t save someone’s life because your medicine isn’t good enough, but to improve someone’s life to give them quality time with their family and friends before they pass away is very rewarding.

      The work I do at the moment isn’t really related to saving peoples lives, but when I was doing Pharmacology a lot of the work related to medicines and disease. It’s very frustrating when the treatments can’t save lives, but if it improves them then that’s a good thing too, and better than nothing at all.
