Question: Do you test on animals? What are your views about this?

I don’t do any tests on animals. It is unlikely that I will ever do tests on live animals myself.
I believe animals should have rights and that animal testing should be avoided if possible. For example, I don’t think things like cosmetics should ever be tested on animals. However, I also believe that people are more important than animals and so I agree with animal testing for important things like medicines if they have the potential to help humans. There are strict regulations for animal testing, and rightfully so.

I agree completely, but do you believe that humans should be tested on instead of animals being tested on?

Not if there’s a risk to the humans. There was a clinical trial a few years ago that went badly wrong and a number of people were close to death. If insufficient animal testing is carried out before human testing then this kind of thing could become common.
