I’m mainly based here in Sheffield but sometimes I get to work in industry for the day or at other universities. Very occasionally I get to travel abroad to go to meetings and conferences where I meet and work with other scientists in my field.
The best place I’ve been with work was probably Sans Sebastian in northern Spain.

I used to work in London and now I work in Reading. I don’t move around very much as part of my work, but occasionally there is a need to go to other places to use different equipment that we don’t have here.

I liked London because there was a lot to do, but it was quite expensive to live there. Reading is a bit cheaper and not too far from London so I can visit quite easily. I think my favourite place was Bristol though, which is where I went to University.
