      Hey so this isn’t my main area of knowledge but I have been thinking on this and it seems that while standard light microscopes are powerful enough to see some bacteria, the level of detail you can see with an electron microscope is amazing! For example, you could see how bacteria cling to teeth in plaque, or how bacteria interact with red blood cells. Not only that, because you can look at something in 1000X, you can see individual structure the bacteria cell uses to attach to host cells, or how the use processes to move around. Its pretty cool, have a look at some of the images on Google.
