Good question,
To make sure my work is accurate, I have to repeat each experiment multiple times. So about 10 times for each experiment. This means that I can see if I did something wrong on one day, or if something strange happened on another day. By averaging the results from all 10 experiments, I can be pretty sure that my work is as accurate as possible.
There are always things that can alter results, such as the type of chemicals used, what disease the patient has, whether they had a cigarette before giving blood etc. It is hard to make things work accurately, but I try!
