      Hi connorkebab,

      I do work with acids quite a lot, but usually I just use them to balance the pH of liquids I need, for example if I need a liquid to be pH 7 and it is pH 9, I will use some hydrochloric acid to lower the pH.

      You’ll find that a lot of chemistry and biology uses all different kinds of acids, they’re very useful substances!
