• Question: are you interested in neurotherapy and other similar ways of 're-training' the brain such as tomatis or rather solisten if you prefer?

      Hi Andrea,

I am interested in all sorts of treatments, cures and therapies, as part of my job it’s good to broaden my horizons 🙂

I’ve heard of those techniques before (pun intended). As a scientist, it is very important to me to be able to see data and primary experimentation and results, rather than hearsay and opinions. The Tomatis and Solisten products both claim similar things, using sound as a therapy to help the brain develop, but when I see these products haven’t really been subject to proper scientific study (i couldn’t find many papers published after the 1990’s), so I’m more interested in things that have scientific evidence to back them up.

With proper evidence and experimentation from reliable sources, even alternative therapies such as those could become more dependable, it’s just a matter of the data 🙂
