Question: how long does it take a cell to reproduce or do they

Cells can grow at different rates. So if I’m watching cells in a dish, I can watch them divide and it might take around a day (18-24 hours). But that’s with human cells and they can be difficult to please. If you are talking about bacteria though….. you can feed them well in the lab and they can divide in about 20 minutes. That’s pretty quick
