        It was invented by a team but the main man is called John O’Sullivan I think. What a clever bunch of people! Where would we be without it?!

      Hedy Lamarr was famous for acting in films in the 1930s, but without her we would not have WiFi or bluetooth. During the second world war she helped develop a torpedo guidance system that utilised frequency hopping protocols that are used in modern wireless technologies.
