I was always impressed with dolphins! They are pretty clever. After watching Blackfish (sad face!) I also found out that “killer” whales are pretty smart!

Humans I’d say. We’re not well adapted physically to dominate the planet but we have developed so many tools and system’s that we do. I think gorillas, chimps and whales are also very intelligent.

Smart in what sense? With the capability to theorise about our place in the universe perhaps it is us. But I am impressed by collective achievements of insect colonies.

I agree with the previous answers, but will add Crows to the mix. They are incredibly cunning and can identify humans, so will recognise you if you were to attack them or give them presents. They also are happy to make and use tools, among other incredible feats. Opposable thumbs, who needs them when a beak will do?
