        I think it is necessary for some medical work, to help cure some awful diseases. However, I do not agree with it for testing makeup/cosmetics. I don;t think it is needed at all and is cruel – we could test these things on humans

        There has to be some testing doen before any drug is realsed to the maket.
        We really don’t want another drug like Thalidomide – but it was released in the 1950s and 60s when the knowledge about drug effects was no where near as complete as today- though nowadays it is used for treating cancer

        It is a necessary part of medical testing. There’s no way round it currently.

        I think sometimes we need to carry out testing on animals so we can develop medicine and check that they are effective and safe to use. I think we should do our best to only use it when we need to and treat the animals well. I do not think it is okay to use animals to test make-up and other cosmetics.
