        I’ve won a couple of competitions in my time. I’ve won a few singing competitions through school when I was younger.
        I’ve also won opportunities to speak to radio and TV producers about science and help them develop new ideas for science based shows.
        I also won best individual debater at a competition when I was doing my A levels. I was asked to go to training for the national final in Cardiff but was unable to go as I had exams 🙁

        I won a duck derby when I was in primary school (we had plastic ducks that re raced down the local river) does that count?

        To be fair, I don’t often enter them either, and as they say, you have to be in it to win it!

        Daiwa Adrian Prize – a shared prize – we used the money to send students to Japan

        When I was at School I won £320 on the lottery and brought an original playstation just after they came out!

        I won a prize for the best marks in a School exam once.
        I got a book about Chemistry – which is what I do as a job now so it must have been a very enjoyable book
