I did pretty good at most of my GCSEs but my parents always had me in the habit of learning as I went along and paying attention in class etc so when it came to the end I didn’t have to do too much revision as I had already done all of the work. I found languages-especially grammar and drama hard though. If your school do any after school study clubs or revision classes I’d recommend going to them to get yourself started 🙂

For me GCSEs were easy (too easy – I did almost not revsion) but A’level were really hard and I did not have great study skills because I took it too easy in GCSEs. In my time GCSEs had not been going long and the system was made tougher between my GCSE year and A’Level year so I found the transition tough. I think these days GCSEs are a better preparation A’Levels

I didn’t find my GCSEs particularly difficult. I know they have made them much more difficult in the last couple years though. Also, I have heard of people doing 12 or more of them – I did 9 in total! Not sure why so many schools do quite so many, it isn’t a competition!

I did pretty well so I didn’t struggle in that sense. However, I felt it was a lot of work with lots of subjects and it was a struggle to switch your mind between them all when revising and taking exams. I did 16 GCSE’s so this is probably why I found it hard.
