0 Question: Why don't we see white dog poo anymore? Asked by sciencetube145 to Gioia, Iain, Jo, Leo, Mariam on 20 Jun 2010 in Categories: General.
Joanna Watson answered on 17 Jun 2010:
I don’t know, but I heard that it is because dogs eat less calcium than they used to. I don’t know if that’s true though.
Mariam Orme answered on 20 Jun 2010:
I don’t think I’ve ever seen white dog poo in my life. Isn’t all dog poo brown? It’s definitely all stinky.
Iain Moal answered on 20 Jun 2010:
What a strange question. I didn’t know the answer, so I googled it. Apparently it is because the calcium content of dog food has been reduced.
Gioia Cherubini answered on 20 Jun 2010:
Honestly, I have no idea what is this about!
