• Question: Why does a rainbow appear bent or arched in a semicircle in the sky?

      Someone told me that a rainbow isn’t really a semi-circle, but is actually a complete circle. You can’t see the whole circle from the ground, but I have heard that some pilots have seen them.

      That’s a really interesting question. But I’m afraid I have no idea what the answer is!
