• Question: what are the survival rates from leukemia?

      I just checked on the Cancer Research UK website (a great place to look for cancer statistics) and it says that about 60% of people survive for at least one year after being diagnosed, about 40% are still alive 5 years after being diagnosed, and about 33% are still alive 10 years after being diagnosed.

      The latest five year survival rates for leukaemia are 38% for men and 36% for women. That means that 38% of men and 36% of women who are diagnosed with leukaemia survive for at least five years after diagnosis.
