      John Snow, because he was one of the first epidemiologists, and he was really clever.

      John Snow used information about who drank the water from different water pumps in London to work out why lots of people were dying of cholera. He found out that nearly all the people who got cholera were getting their water from just one water pump, so he broke the pump and stopped more people from getting ill.

      Ooh, brilliant question. I think I would like Charles Darwin’s mind – to come up with such an important theory would be incredible!

      Very hard to say, but I think I’ll have to go with Charles Darwin. His contribution to science have change the way mankind thinks about itself. He managed to explain where the human race came from – one of the deepest insights any scientist has ever had.
