• Question: Have you ever started a project( finding something out) and then given up?

      Yes, I have. It’s very sad when you decide to stop doing a project, especially after you’ve put in a lot of hard work. But sometimes you have to “quit while you’re ahead” – if for example the project isn’t going to work for technical reasons, or if some other scientists publish some data that makes you realise that your project won’t work out.
