      Hi georgina.

      Yes, I do find my research really interesting! What I do is quite different to what most scientists do – and sometimes even other scientists don’t understand it.

      I tried doing laboratory science when I was at university and I didn’t enjoy it, so I thought that I shouldn’t be a scientist. It was only when I found out that there are scientists who look for patterns in diseases using data from real people that I got interested in doing science for my career.
